In Ayurveda BPH is compared to mootrakruchra and mootraaghaata. Ayurveda believes that BPH is caused due to predominance of kapha and vata dosha. In BPH it has been seen that points is not able to completely of empty the bladder. So due to incomplete emptying burning sensation a greater increase in frequency dribbling of urine slow and interrupted urine.
